High-frequency noise:
This usually comes from the inverter or internal circuitry. You may hear a faint “hissing” sound under very low or high load conditions, which is a normal part of the power conversion process.
Fan noise:
The cooling fan operates automatically based on temperature. It may turn on and off or adjust its speed as needed. Running at full speed during heavy charging or discharging is normal and helps keep the unit within a safe temperature range.
When to check for issues:
If you notice a constant high-pitched whine, or any unusual sounds such as grinding, rattling, or knocking from the fan, this may indicate a problem and should be checked.
