Please follow these safety guidelines when using the UPS function:
1. Not a True 0ms UPS:
Jackery units do not provide instantaneous 0ms switching. Do not use them for servers, precision machines, or other equipment that cannot tolerate even a brief power interruption.
2. Avoid Overload:
Connecting too many devices at once may overload the unit. We recommend connecting one device per unit whenever possible.
3. AC Output Limits During Pass-Through Charging:
When charging the unit while powering devices (pass-through), the AC output has limits. Do not connect devices that exceed the maximum AC output.
AC Output Guidelines:
·Units ≤ 1500W rated output: AC output limit = unit’s rated output. Devices’ rated and startup power must stay within this.
·Units > 1500W rated output: AC output limit = 1500W (based on household outlet capacity). Devices’ rated and startup power must stay ≤ 1500W.
·During a power outage, the unit automatically switches to battery power and can supply power up to its rated output.
4. Use in Harsh Environments:
For outdoor or industrial sites, use an industrial-grade UPS rather than a portable power station’s UPS function.
