1. Check the Connection Terminals
■ Explorer 100 Plus / Portable Power Station 300 Plus / 240NEW
To use solar panels with these models, a DC8020 - USB-C Trans Jack is required.
If the solar panel’s connector is not DC8020 standard, it cannot be connected.
Connection example:
Solar Panel ⇒ DC8020 - USB-C Trans Jack ⇒ 100 Plus / 300 Plus / 240NEW USB-C In/Out Port
■ Portable Power Stations 240 / 300 / 500 / 880 / 1000
DC input port size: DC7909 (Outer diameter 7.9 mm, inner diameter 5.5 mm, inner pin 0.9 mm)
Note: Inner wall is positive, outer wall is negative.
■ Portable Power Stations 1500, v2 series, Plus series, 1500 Ultra
DC input port size: DC8020 (Outer diameter 8.0 mm, inner diameter 5.5 mm, inner pin 2.0 mm)
Note: Inner wall is positive, outer wall is negative.
2. Check the Open-Circuit Voltage of the Solar Panel
Make sure that the open-circuit voltage of the solar panel falls within the DC input voltage range of the portable power station.
Connecting a solar panel with a voltage exceeding the input limit may prevent charging or cause product damage.
3. Important Notes
Solar panels that match the above terminal size and open-circuit voltage can be connected.
