It requires a large current to jumpstart a dead car battery of any vehicle. Jackery power stations are not designed for this particular purpose. However, our power stations can charge any vehicle battery via a DC 12V charging cable with alligator clamps. Please note that we do offer a DC 12V charging cable with alligator clamps that can be used on your vehicle's battery and it is available for purchase on Amazon. Can you charge an Ebike battery with the Jackery 240?
Yes, you'll plug your ebike charger brick into the AC wall plug output of the Jackery. Note that Ebike / Escooter batteries typically range in capacity from 200 Wh to 650 Wh and the chargers for the bigger batteries might draw more than 300 W, though that's unlikely. The Jackery 240 is limited to about 290 Wh Capacity (i.e. total energy) and 300 W maximum Power. So, if your bike's battery is more than 290 Wh, you'll only be able to partially charge it. In the unlikely case your bike's charger draws much more than 300 W you won't be able to charge it at all.
If your Ebike battery label doesn't show the battery's Watt-hour (Wh) capacity, multiply the battery's nominal voltage X the battery's Amp Hour (Ah) rating to get Wh, then add 10% since peak battery voltage is typically 10% higher than the rated nominal voltage. Standard voltages for Ebike batteries are 24V, 36V, or 48V.
